Assistance to farmers producing red onion of the state to sell in APMCs of Saurasht districts (2023-24).

Assistance to farmers producing red onion of the state to sell in APMCs of districts of Saurashtra: Farmers selling red onion in all APMCs of districts of Saurashtra will get Rs. 2/- (Rupees two) and maximum of 500 Kattas (250 quintals) per farmer for the benefit of financial assistance from 14/02/2023 to 6/03/2023 for red onion produced from own farm to market (A.P.M.C) will be available to farmers who have sold only.

Transport assistance for export of red onion to other states/outside the country (2023-24)

Transport assistance for export of red onion to other states/outside the country:  Transport cost for export of red onion to other states/outside the country by farmers/traders selling red onion in all APMCs in Saurashtra State (1) Red Onion

If export is done outside the state by road transport Rs. 750/- per metric ton, (2) 100 per cent of the freight cost in case of export by rail outside the State or Rs. 1150/- per metric ton, whichever is lower and (3) 25% of the total freight cost in case of export outside the country or Rs. 10.00 lakhs, whichever is lower, shall be eligible for transport subsidy per farmer/trader.

 Benefit of Assistance Dt. From 6/03/2023 to 30/4/2023 red onion will be available for export to other states/outside the country.

Assistance to Potato Producing Farmers of the State to Sell in APMC (2023-24)

Assistance to Potato Producing Farmers of the State for Selling in APMCs: Farmers selling Potatoes in all APMCs of the State will get Rs. 50 i.e. one kilogram is Rs.1/- and maximum 600 katta (300 kilowatts) per farmer benefit of financial assistance during the period from 1/02/2023 to 31/03/2023 from own farm to market (A. Only farmers who have sold in PMC) will be available.

Transport assistance for export of potato to other states/outside the country ( 2023-24 )

Transport allowance for export of potatoes to other states/outside the country:  Transport cost for export of potatoes to other states/outside the country by farmers/traders registered with the State Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) (1) Export of potatoes by road transport

If the state releases Rs. 750/- per metric ton, (2) 100 per cent of the freight cost in case of export by rail outside the State or Rs. 1150/- per metric ton, whichever is lower and (3) 25% of the total freight cost in case of export outside the country or Rs. 10.00 lakhs, whichever is lower, shall be eligible for transport subsidy per farmer/trader.

Assistance to Potato Producing Farmers of the State for Storage in Cold Storage (2023-24)

Assistance to potato producing farmers of the state for storage in cold storage: In the potato growing districts of the state, farmers of Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Patan Anand, Kheda and Vadodara districts of the state will store only edible potatoes (table purpose) in cold storage.

Kilo Rs. 1/- per article to the farmer Rs. Financial assistance within the limit of 600 katta (300 kilowatts) per farmer of 50 and above. 1/02/2023 to It will be redeemable if collected by 31/03/2023.
