Central employees may get good news again. Like the festival, the Modi government can also give gifts to its employees in the new year. Earlier on Diwali, the Modi government had hiked the salaries of employees by 3 per cent. Now there is talk that the central government may once again appease the workers. The government may announce an increase in house rent allowance in early January 2022.



The central government sent the proposal


The finance ministry has started brainstorming to implement the house rent allowance for more than 11.56 lakh employees. Let me tell you, a proposal has been sent to the Railway Board for approval of this proposal. If this dismissal is approved. So employees will get HRA for January 2021. Let me tell you, the Indian Railway Technical Supervisors Association and the National Federation of Railwaymen have been demanding implementation of HRA from 1st January 2021. There will be a bumper increase in salaries after an increase in the rent of house allowance



How much is the house rent allowance?

Let me tell you, a city with a population of over 5 million falls into the X category. Cities with a population of 5 lakh or more, on the other hand, fall into the Y category. And cities with a population of less than 5 million fall into the Z category. The minimum HRA for these three categories is Rs.5400, Rs.3600 and Rs.1800.


The state government also increased the DA allowance


Earlier, the Jharkhand government had hiked the Moghwari allowance for all its employees and pensioners by three per cent. And the increase will take effect from July 1 this year. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting of the Jharkhand government chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. According to which, all the employees and pensioners who are getting salary as per the 5th, 6th and 7th pay commission of the state government will get more than 3% salary allowance from 1st July 2021.
