Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board, Gandhinagar invites online applications from candidates under SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE on OJAS website for filling up of 05 posts of Multi Purpose Health Worker, Class-3 cadre under the control of Additional Director (Public Health), Gandhinagar under the control of Health and Family Welfare Department only from Divyang candidates. For this, candidates will have to apply online from https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in from 01/04/2025 (14:00 hrs) to 25/04/2025 (till 23:59 hrs). All the instructions regarding the recruitment process will be posted on the Board's website https://gsssb.gujarat.gov.in, so keep checking the Board's website from time to time.


(1) The candidate himself must read the detailed instructions for applying (including those mentioned in paragraph no. 7 of this advertisement) and this entire advertisement carefully before applying online.


(2) While applying online, the candidate is not required to attach any certificates. However, while applying online, the applicant has to fill the entire details in the online application based on the details in the certificates. Hence, all his certificates like, educational qualification, age, school leaving certificate, category (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS), disability and other qualifications related to the original certificates have to be filled in the online application based on such certificates. The application will be liable to be rejected due to incorrect details in the application. Therefore, the candidate has to fill the online application form carefully and check it before confirming the application. After the application is confirmed, if any mistake is found in it, no correction will be made by the Board. For that, the candidate will have to re-apply with correct details. If more than one application is confirmed by the same candidate, the last confirmed application in which the candidate has paid the examination fee will be considered valid.


(3) Examination Method - In the selection process, the candidate will have to give the objective MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) प्रहारना प्रश्नोपाना CBRT/OMR (Computer Based Respose Test/ Optical Mark Recognition) method competitive examination as mentioned in paragraph no. 9 of the advertisement. Which the concerned candidates should take note of.


(4) If necessary, some instructions regarding the examination will be given by the board on the mobile number through SMS or e-mail. Therefore, the candidate must indicate his mobile number and e-mail in the relevant column of the application form and it is necessary and in your interest to maintain the mobile number and e-mail mentioned at the time of filling the application form until the entire recruitment process is completed.

Salary Scale:-

As per the Finance Department's Resolution No. Expenditure/2002/57/Part-4/4.1 dated 18/10/2023, the appointment will be made subject to the terms and conditions of the Finance Department's Resolution No. Expenditure/2002/57/(Part-3)/Z.1 dated 28/03/2016 and 16/10/2020, and the candidate will be eligible for regular appointment in the pay scale of Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/- (Level-2) as per the Seventh Pay Commission in the concerned office if his services are found satisfactory. However, in this regard, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has filed SLP

NO. 14124/2012 and SLP NO. 14125/2012,


Nationality:-

The candidate should be a citizen of India or should have the nationality as per the provisions of Rule-7 of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.


Age Limit and Educational Qualification Details:-

(a) Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 33 years as on 25/04/2025;

The upper age limit may be relaxed in favour of the candidate who is already in the service of the Government of Gujarat as per the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.


(b) Educational Qualification:

(b) have successfully completed minimum one year Multi-Purpose Health Worker basic certificate course or Diploma course obtained from an educational institution recognized as such by the Government; or

(c) have passed minimum one year Sanitary Inspectors Diploma Course obtained from the educational institution recognized as such by the Government; or

(d) have passed minimum one year certificate course of Health Sanitary Inspectors from Industrial Training Institute or any other institute recognized as such by the Government; or

(e) have passed the diploma of Sanitary Inspector or Health Sanitary Inspector obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956,

(f) possess basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967: and

(g) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
