LIC Assistant Administrative Officer : Age Limit
Candidate's age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years. Minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years (completed) as on 01.01.2023. Maximum age should not exceed 30 years (Candidates born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2002 both days inclusive are only eligible) Upper age relaxation for Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes ( ST)/Other Backward Community(OBC)/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD)/Confirmed LIC Employees shall be as follows.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution. The mentioned educational qualification should be from a University/Institute/Board recognized by Govt. Approved by India / Government regulatory bodies and result should be declared on or before 01.01.2023. Appropriate documents of the Board/University have to be submitted at the time of interview for declaration of result on or before 01.01.2023.


LIC Assistant Administrative Officer Selection Process

The selection of LIC AAO will be done on the basis of three stage examination i.e. Preliminary Examination (Stage I), Main Examination (Stage II) and Interview followed by Pre Recruitment Medical Examination. The marks obtained in the main examination and interview will be considered for the final merit list (final selection) of the candidates.

LIC AAO 2023 will be conducted in two phases: Prelims and Mains.

The written test will have 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of the written examination will be 1 hour or 60 minutes. 0.25 marks will be deducted if the candidate attempts a wrong question. Preliminary examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:


Note : Descriptive tests of English Language etc. will be of qualifying nature and English Language marks will not be considered for ranking.

The written test will have 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. Preliminary examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:


Descriptive tests of English Language etc. will be of qualifying nature and English Language marks will not be considered for ranking.
Candidates are required to qualify for each test. Candidates have to qualify each objective test.
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the objective tests for the main examination. ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Marks obtained in Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for selection and final selection will be made on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in Interview in Main Examination (Phase II).
