DA (Dearness Allowance) increased by 4 percent from 34 percent to 38 percent

Modi government has now given big gifts to central employees and pensioners in the festive season. It is known that in the cabinet meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi, it has been decided to increase the dearness allowance. DA (Dearness Allowance) has been increased by 4 percent from 34 percent to 38 percent. The increase will be valid from July to December 2022. Employees and pensioners will get dearness allowance and relief at the rate of 38 percent. The increment is based on the formula accepted under the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

At present dearness allowance is given to central employees and pensioners at the rate of 34 per cent. But in view of the backbreak inflation, the government has increased it by 4 percent to 38 percent. Central employees will be fully paid the new dearness allowance along with the October salary. All the arrears of the last 3 months will also be given to the employees in the month of October.

47 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners benefited

Dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent. The dearness allowance of central employees has been increased to 38 percent. A huge increase in the salaries of central employees is possible with the increase in dearness allowance. According to the information, this decision of the central government will benefit 47 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners.

Who benefits how much?

If the basic salary of a government employee is Rs. 56,000, then if the dearness allowance is increased at the rate of 38 per cent, Rs. 21,280 as dearness allowance. That is, if you add Rs 2240 more every month and profit as per the whole year, you will get Rs 21,280*12 = Rs 255360. This means that annually you will get Rs 26,880 more dearness allowance than before.

Suppose an employee's basic salary is Rs 18,000, then at the rate of 34 per cent, he is getting Rs 6,120 as dearness allowance. But after increasing the dearness allowance to 38 percent, Rs 6,840 will be given as dearness allowance. That is, where earlier the dearness allowance was Rs. 6,120*12 = Rs. 73,440, after increasing it you get Rs. 82,080 ie Rs. 8,640 will be benefited.
