Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has taken a youth-friendly decision to cover bright and needy young students studying in higher education courses in the state in the Mukhyamantri Scholarship Scheme.
According to the decision taken by the Chief Minister, now the students who get admission in Diploma course after passing Std. 10 as well as the youth who get admission in Degree courses (D to D) after passing Diploma will get the benefit of Mukhyamantri Scholarship Scheme.
Bhupendra Patel has made the benefits of scholarships under this scheme much easier so that more and more young students get the benefits of Mukhyamantri Scholarship Scheme.
According to a resolution issued by the state education department, the scheme will benefit children and youth from families with an annual income of up to Rs 4.50 lakh.
According to the eligibility criteria for availing the benefit of Mukhyamantri Scholarship Scheme, the eligible students who get admission in Diploma course after Std.
50 whichever is less will be sanctioned.
Eligible students who get admission in Degree Courses (D to D) after passing Diploma will get 50% of tuition fee for engineering and professional courses or Rs.
Whichever amount is less than 1 lakh will be recoverable.
Not only this, the beneficiaries who get scholarship under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana will also be eligible under this Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana.
* That is, this scheme will be a supplementary scheme of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana.
