Matters regarding inclusion of employees of non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools in the rules of transfer of upper primary teacher / teaching assistant and primary teacher / teaching assistant.

To keep husband and wife in one place as far as possible by giving priority to public interest, administrative requirements and work interest as per existing instructions of General Administration Department from Circular No: TRF / 102021/4 / G-4 dated 17/10/2021 by General Administration Department. Instructions have been circulated to the survey departments to follow the guidelines regarding the transfer of persons with disabilities. The circular states, "The job of an officer / employee performing duty in a state board, corporation, grant-in-aid organization is mostly non-transferable. Provision has been made that before making appointment by transfer / deputation, the competent authority should give priority to public interest administrative requirement and operation.

Resolution No. of the Department dated 19/06/2018: PRE / 11-2018 / 114/5 to the rules of transfer of higher primary teachers / teaching assistants and primary teachers / teaching assistants in the state when husband or wife is employed as a teacher or their spouse of Gujarat Government Provision has been made to give the benefit of transfer on priority basis to both the teachers if they are employed in other Departments, Panchayat Service, Government of India, Board of Gujarat Government or Board of Government of India, Corporation or Board of Government of India. This provision does not include teachers or Shinka's spouses who are performing their duties as non-government secondary and higher secondary schools in the state.

Gujarat State Secondary and Higher Secondary School Administrative Employee has submitted a letter dated 7/10/2071 (copy included) to give the benefit of General Administration Department Circular dated 19/10/21 to the employees of non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools. Hence, by the General Administration Department


Considering the provision made in the circular dated 17/10/21, amended the resolution dated 19/06/2017, if the spouse of the upper primary teacher / educator and primary teacher / educator is performing duty in non-government aided secondary and higher secondary schools. It is also requested to consider the benefits of transfer in accordance with the rules.
