The JNVs are run by NVS, New Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. There are around 626 JNVs all over the country. These central schools give admission to talented students from across the country and every year several students appear in the selection test to grab a seat in the schools.


Navodaya Vidyalaya, JNVST Class 6 admission test 2021, has been postponed till further order. The rescheduled exam date will be intimated to the students at least 15 days prior to the date of the selection test. Students appearing for the test must keep a check on the official site for more updates on NVS Exam 2021.


The official short notice on NVS Exam 2021 for Class 6 admission reads, “Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test-2021 for the admission of students in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas to Class 6 for the academic session 2021-22, which is scheduled on “May 16, 2021” in all the states and UTs other than Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya remain postponed due to administrative reasons. The revised date will be notified at least 15 days prior to the date of selection test”.


JNVST Admit Card 2021 Class 6 entrance examination JNVST 2021-22 will be available on the official portal and a link for the same will also be provided here. This year, the examination was to be conducted in two phases on 16th May and 19th June but due to administrative reasons officials have postponed both phase exam dates, but now it is rescheduled to 11th August 2021. Navodaya 6th Class Admission Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021 is an important document that all candidates need to carry to the exam center and not having this candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

The JNV Class 6 selection test is conducted in English, Hindi and the regional languages of each state. The selection test is held for a duration of two hours and has three sections with 80 objective type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The three sections are Mental Ability, Arithmetic Test and Language Test.


The entrance exam will be conducted for Class 6 admission in Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. A total of 2,41,7009 candidates have registered for the selection test out of which 47,320 candidates in 11,182 centres will be selected.


JNVST exam paper for class 6 admission will consist of three sections with only objective type questions. There are three section in thr two-hour-long test– Mental Ability, Arithmetic Test and Language Test. There will be 80 questions in all for 100 marks. The test will be conducted in English, Hindi and the regional languages of each state.
