The Central Government has approved the decision to increase MSP on kharif crops for the budget session 2021-22. According to the government, the MSP has increased the most this year (Rs 452 per quintal) compared to last year. Apart from this, the price of Tuvar and Adad dal has been increased by Rs 300 per quintal.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the Union government has decided to increase MSP on kharif crops by 50 per cent. In the last 7 years, the Modi government at the Center has taken many big decisions for the bright future of the farmers. At the same time, it has always been ready to solve every problem of the farmers.

The minimum support price of foodgrains has increased by Rs 72 this year as compared to last year. After which it has gone up to Rs 1940 per quintal. Which was Rs 1868 per quintal last year.
On the central government's decision to increase MSP for kharif crops, Congress says farmers will not believe this way. The government should repeal three agricultural laws to end the peasant movement. The Congress termed the law as disastrous and said the government should give up its stubbornness and withdraw it.
