Gujarat Government Educational Yojana(Schemes) for Gujarat Students

1. Bi-cycle to girls studying in Std. 9 (Under Saraswati Sadhan Yojana - Bicycle gift scheme for girls studying in 9th standard).

Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme

Free Bicycle is given to the girl students studying in 9th std.
Yearly Income Limit for this Scheme is:
 Rural zone 
 Urban zone
 Rs. 47,000/- 
 Rs. 68,000/- 

2.) Helping to students of Vicharti Vimukt Jati (Nomadic/De-notified Tribes) studying in self-financed institutes.


Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme

Student must be from vicharti vimukt Jati
Yearly income limit is Rs. 2.0 lacs
Student must be Studying in self-finance institutes
Institutes should be certified by the government of Gujarat

Benefits of this Yojana(Scheme)

     Self-finance Institutes registration fees, examination fees together with a maximum of      Rs. 50,000 or actual expenditure within the approved Help.

3.) Scholarship for Technical and Professional Courses for students of Gujarat. (Swami Vikekanand Yojana)


Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme

Student must be studying in Technical and Professional Courses.

Yearly Income Limit for this Scheme is:

 Rural zone 
 Urban zone
 Rs. 47,000/- 
 Rs. 68,000/- 

Benefits of Swami Vivekanand Yojana(Scheme)

Monthly Rs. 400/- for Government ITI Students.


4.)  Financial Loan for Training of Commercial Pilot


Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme

There is no Income Limit for this scheme.

Benefits of this Yojana(Scheme)

Loan of Rs. 25,00,000/- at 4% (interest rate).


5.) Uniform of two Pairs to the Children studying in Std. 1 to 8.


Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme

There is no Income Limit for this scheme.

Benefits of this Yojana(Scheme)

Rs. 300/- for two pairs of uniforms (per year).


6.) Book Bank for students of Medical and Engineering Students.


Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme

There is no Income Limit for this scheme.

Benefits of this Yojana(Scheme)

Books are proving by charging 10% of deposit after that when you crediting books 5% of deposit returned to you.
Total 5 book banks are running Under this Scheme.

7.) Prize Schemes for students who get top ranks in Std. 10 and     12 Board Examination.  

Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme


Prize is awarded to the SEBC Students who get top ranks in the 10th and 12th standards.
Prize will be Distributed district wise obtaining First, Second and Third places in Board Examination.

State-Level:- 1st rank- 31000/-               District Level:- 1st rank- 6000/-
                      2nd rank- 21000/-                                       2nd rank- 5000/-

For std. 12th Students
State-Level:- 1st rank- 31000/-               District Level:- 1st rank- 6000/-

8.) Scholarship for Courses of M.Phil and PhD.

Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme

Students must be of M.Phil and PhD.
Yearly Income Limit for this Scheme is:
 Rural zone 
 Urban zone
 Rs. 1,20,000/- 
 Rs. 1,50,000/- 

Benefits of this Yojana(Scheme)

For M.Phil Students Rs. 25,000/-
For PhD Students Rs. 30,000/-

9.)Scholarship for Training of IAS and IPS (financial help at all stages of UPSC  examination)

Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme


There is no Income Limit for this scheme.

Benefits of this Yojana(Scheme)

Passing on Preliminary Examination:- For Boys- 50,000/-, For Girls- 60,000/-
Passing on Main Examination:- For Boys- 25,000/-, For Girls - 30,000/-
50% amount you get on passing the Preliminary Examination and the remaining amount you get after attending an interview and passing the Main examination.

10.)  Pre SSC Scholarship to Most Backward Classes for Std. 1 to 10 students 


Criteria for Qualifying this Scheme

This scheme is  50% Sponsored by central govt. and 50% Sponsored by state govt.

Benefits of this Yojana(Scheme)

For SEBC Students:- Non-resident Students- Std. 1 to 10- 100/- Rs Per Student
                                   Hostel Students- Std 3 to 10 - 500/- Rs Per Student.
