Good news for SBI account holders, now it is free

Transfer from mobile phone or internet banking can be done using IMPS service.
new Delhi. If you are the State Bank of India (SBI) account holder then this news is for you. The bank has made changes in the money transfer service, IMPS, which is imposed on the Immediate Payment Service. According to the new procedure, up to Rs.1000 IMPS will be free. SBI has given this information on Twitter.

The IMPS transfer of 1000 to 1 lakh will now be charged 5 rupees. At the same time, 15 rupees have been charged for transfer of Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 2 lakhs. These shukla also includes GST.
Can be transferred from mobile phone or internet banking using IMPS service. This service is available 24x7 including holidays.

NEFT and RTGS are also cheap
At the same time, the bank has reduced charges for other money transfer services - NEFT and RTGS transactions. The bank says that the fee for online money transfer services has been reduced to promote digital transaction.
Earlier, transfer of Rs 10,000 by NEFT was charged at 2 rupees. Now it has been reduced to 1 rupee. It also includes 18 percent GST. The fee for NEFT transfers from Rs 10,000 to Rs. 1 lakh has been reduced from 4 rupees to 2 rupees.

This feature is only available for Life Option.The critical illness benefit is an accelerated benefit and the death benefit will be reduced by the critical illness cover paid to the policyholder.
