Pay Scale: Rs.15,500/-(Pay Level-10)

Training Period:
For Flying & Ground Duty(Technical)-74 weeks

For Ground Duty (Non-Technical)-52 weeks

Qualification: 

Flying Branch: Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branches):
Administration: Passed 10+2 and Graduate Degree (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Education: Passed 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50% in any discipline.
Meteorology: Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
Ground Duty (Technical Branch):
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics){AE(L)}: Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/Technology from recognized University.

Age Limit:
Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch: 20 to 26 years

Application Fee: 
Online testing will be conducted for AFCAT entry at various centres. Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) as examination fee. However, candidates registering for NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry are not required to pay. Details of conduct of exam, examination centres and mode of payment are available in the notification.

Selection Process:
Candidates who have qualified in the written exam are required to choose AFSB date and venue by themselves on the website https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in or https://afcat.cdac.in in order to generate calls- up letter for AFSB interview. Flying Branch: Graduation Degree in Any Stream with 60% marks have passed Physics &  Maths in 10+2 Level or BE/B. Tech Degree who have Attained Minimum 60% marks in Aggregate in all papers.

Ground Duty Technical Branch: Aeronautical Engineering Electronics-(10+2) intermediate minimum 6 % marks in Physics & math’s & Minimum 4 years Graduation/Integrated PG Degree in Engineering/Technology

Aeronautical engineering mechanical: candidates with Minimum 60% Marks Each in physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level & 4 years Engineering/Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent degree.

Ground Duty Non-technical: Graduation Degree in Any Stream/Commerce with 60% marks minimum/Post Graduation Degree in Any Stream with 50% marks minimum.

NCC Special Entry: NCC Air wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate & other Details  as per flying branch Eligibility
