VISION AND MISSION
- To conduct research in forestry and to provide technical inputs to the Forest Department for the advancement of Forestry technology.
- To develop research facilities to raise the standard of forestry and wildlife research.
- To conduct research in various species for enhancement of the genetic qualities of plants, especially tree species.
- To promote research in forestry in various fields with the co-operation of Gujarat Forest Department.
- To do all other acts and things conducive for the attainment of the above, in most efficient manner possible and such other activities which are relevant to fulfil the objectives of the foundation.
- To impart training to the farmers, students, professionals, officials, employees etc. regarding forestry, wildlife, biodiversity, agro-forestry etc. through its training divisions.
- To organise nature education, orientation, extension and communication activities to create general awareness for the conservation of forests, wildlife and environment.
