The rules for the drivers will be applicable, 1 Januariya will apply to the countryside

Road Transportation and Highways Ministry issued a directive. According to which it will be mandatory to set up Vehicle Location Tracking (VLT) system and emergency button in each public transport vehicle other than 1 January 2019 and subsequent auto-rickshaw and e-rickshaw registration. 

The biggest victim of molestation in the country is in women and public transport. Those who are trying to tolerate all these tricks silently because there is fear of defamation. Now the government has tried to bring out their voice on the penic button.

Priyank Bharti, joint secretary of Road Transport and Highways Ministry, said, "VLT in passenger vehicles will become mandatory from 1 January 2019. The order for this (on Wednesday) has been done and it will be applicable from today. This mandate applies to new commercial vehicles and the government will fix the date for the execution of it in old vehicles and it will be implemented.
