As per the provisions of the Assam Employees Parents' Responsibility and Norms for Accountability and Monitoring Bill, 2017, the state government or any other organization in Assam will take care of their parents and Divya's sister.

State Minister Himanta Vishwakarma passed this bill in the morning, saying that an example has also come to the fore in which the parents live in the old age homes and their children do not take care of them. He said that the purpose of this bill is not to interfere in the personal lives of the employees of the state but it is to ensure that parents and Diviwang brothers can complain in the employees' department if they do not take care of them.

After the discussion in the session, the bill was passed with unanimity, Sharma said that the bill will also be passed for another bill of legislation, legislator, public sector and employees of private companies operated in Assam.
